First port of call for ale drinkers are the legendary Tinners and Mermaid Ales and our wonderful refreshing Zennor lager . Alongside these you’ll find a range of well-kept cask ales, beers and ciders from some of the county’s best-loved breweries: plus guest ales and craft lagers from local brewers. Try a drop of Polgoon cider from the local vineyard down the road at Penzance or Godrevy Gold from St. Ives.
Not an Ale drinker? We have an extensive selection of wines from all over the Globe. Sample a hand-crafted Cornish spirit – distilleries such as Tarquins and Curio have recently been springing up, resurrecting the art of small-batch spirits. Cornish rock samphire and Devon violets add unique local character to these delightful Cornish gins.
Last, but certainly not least, we’re particularly fond of our whiskies. From light, creamy easy-drinking Speysides through earthy Highlands to punchy Islays packed full of peat. If you enjoy a dram as much as we do, we trust you’ll find a pleasing drop, there’s a selection of a dozen or more stalwarts and newcomers behind the bar at any time.
